At IFPI, we invented a new approach to fertility preservation when there is limited time for egg or embryo freezing. Normally to perform ovarian stimulation for egg or embryo freezing, doctors have to wait for the beginning of the period before starting the process. Our research indicated that in most cases, there is no need to wait for the menstrual period and ovarian stimulation can be started at any time during the cycle, even after ovulation. With our unique stimulation approach we can medically manage your cycle without a need for further delay. Because ovarian stimulation and egg retrieval takes usually around two weeks, if you have around that much time before your cancer treatment or other type of medical treatment starts and you are not at the beginning of your cycle, this approach maybe suitable for you.
